UPDATE (12:42PM) The Dave/Vedder Performance Confirmed by Showbox Staff

Dave Matthews played a wedding reception for RealNetworks CEO Rob Glaser on Saturday at The Showbox in Seattle, WA.

The story goes that Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder took the stage to sing Rockin’ In The Free World and Thank You. A shady looking photograph of Dave and Vedder is available. We’ve touched it up, and put it on the web here.

DMB is supposed to be finishing up the new album right now, Dave hasn’t played a private show like this since the bat mitzvah for Jessica Colburn, (daughter of Time Warner Executive David) With no real confirmation or great pictures from the show, this is still in rumorville, but should provide at least entertainment even if proven a hoax.
