  • DMB Caves to iTunes Distribution Method
    Get a friggin' clue.

After over a year of trying to find a working digital distribution method for Dave Matthews Band has found a new home at iTunes.
As reported in our article about the move to Napster in July 16th, 2004 article, Napster Nabs DMB Catalog, DMB failed to secure a favorable method for distributing their own music on the internet. Sony's newer media download site, Sony Connect began selling DMB music last month.

Thread of the Week: Dave Matthews Studio Collaborations List

DownWithDlaw had the idea of assembling a list of different artists Dave Matthews has collaborated with in the studio. The list includes Mike Doughty, Blue Man Group, Soulive, Angelique Kidjo, Johnny Cash, Dawn Thompson & John d'Earth and more. Check out the thread for the dates of collaborations and the song name.

    Davespeak: Parade

"In the war-torn country of Rwanda and there abouts, there are these apes that live there, and they thought for the longest time that they were just like, chimps. But no, no, they're not. They're very different. Those that need to take a peek in agreement. No, these, these, ah.

Shut up man! Um. The likelihood of my playing what you scream for when I'm saying something that I feel is important, and then you interrupt me, is getting smaller and smaller by moment. I tell you. A look. I appreciate it, but look. Let me finish this goddamn story about the monkeys, and it'll be over..."

    Red Rocks Rumors Persist

Rumors continue to swirl regarding the possibility of three shows at the Red Rocks Ampitheatre in Morrison, Colorado.

The Denver Post has been adding fuel to the fire recently. On Sunday, Aprili 24th an article by Post columnist Bill Husted wrote "Nothing is confirmed yet, and there is no set date, say promoter Morris and Dave Matthews' people - but you can count on Dave Matthews Band playing at Red Rocks this summer."
