DMB closed out their Fall tour in Charlottesville last weekend. Everyone couldn't be there, so we thought you might like to check out what Dave had to say about both the crew and band and the break next year.

"So uh, we went for a little while and uh and I wanna thank all the people and the crew, and uh, for being on the road with us. We've got the most amazing group of people that travel around the world with us. And, it is my great pleasure to be in a family of these people and uh and uh feel so well done by all of 'em. It's so nice to be here and end this tour with y'all and I just want to tell all of them, all my brothers and sisters that are out here on this family that, in this family, that we've been travelling around for a few years now together and I am just so grateful for all the people. Everybody, from the first day to the last and I just love you all so much. We got a good bunch!

"This song is called 'Blood of Our Children.' It's a real quiet one, so if you gotta talk, could you whisper? Thanks. Just for those few that want to hear it. I'm embarrassed to say anything like that."

"And also we got, we, we, we got a Greenpeace stand coming around on the road with us, too, and they're out there trying to stop all the things that they're trying to stop. They're trying to keep the sky blue and the ground brown and grass green and the trees growing, so. Maybe y'all can drop a couple dollars in there for the people over there so we can breathe and our children can breathe and several generations from now, our people can breathe."

"Let's go to, let's go to, where do you want to go, that guy? To Players? Is that like a, is that like a swinger's club or something? What is it? Let's go to Players! I want to date older women! So do I. We can't all go to Players, you dummy. You big dummy. That's, I like to call somebody a big dummy. You know? 'Cause it's not really that hardcore, but it's kind of devastating. You big dummy. I'm like your grandfather. We can't all go to Players, you big dummy! You want it to be, to be in the dirty underbelly. Keep it in the shadows when you're swingin'! Yeah. Let's go to Players! Tell me afterwards. Be like, 'Hey dude. Let's go to Players.' Now we can't go, you big dummy!"

"Sometimes I have panic attacks. Just need to lie down or something. It's not appropriate right now. So instead I'll just act confused. Have another sip of this. Ah. Mmm...Easy. We only, we've only had a sip of wine so far. Now you're trying to bang me. Easy buddy. Let's get, let's get to it! I want to, I want to, I want to get there now! I hear ya, man. Dude."

"So it's nice, always nice to come up to the Tri-State Area and hang out with y'all. I grew up in the Tri-State Area, I grew up in the Tri-State Area. Then I went over to Africa, got lost for a little time. But now I got to say I'm from Virginia, but we always love to come up here to all y'all in the Tri-State Area and hang out with all y'all."
