In a bizarre move, Prince ordered his lawyers to enforce the removal of all photographs, images, lyrics and album covers along with anything else linked to the artist's likeness from his biggest internet fansites.
The Guardian reports that a legal letter sent from Prince's lawyers to fansites goes so far as to demand "substantive details of the means by which you propose to compensate our clients [Paisley Park Entertainment Group, NPG Records and AEG] for damages."
Dave Matthews is in Los Angeles this week to take part in Adam Sandler's newest film, "You Don't Mess with the Zohan." Zohan is a film about a Mossad agent who fakes his death so he can move to New York and become hair stylist.
This is Dave's second role in a major motion picture starring Adam Sandler. In "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" Dave had a non-speaking cameo as a gay employee at a lingerie store.
In Zohan, Dave will be playing a "red neck terrorist" and will be on set for three days of shooting.

Dave Matthews Band will perform three more shows in 2007. The first is a normal ticketed show at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, NJ. The concert capacity for the venue is 20,000.
The two other shows are semi-private events rewarding the cadets of the US Military Academy for winning the "World's Loudest Pep Rally." The WLPR was a contest for NCAA-sized schools to see who could best illustrate that they were the most qualified DMB fans to receive a free concert.
The world's largest private torrent tracker was shut down this morning in separate raids in Middlesbrough and Amsterdam.
Update: Official news from OiNK is now being delivered here. However, it still isn't clear what to use instead of oink.

She is in town for a the filming "Soundstage " a PBS special being filmed in the area next week. Other artists who have played Soundstage include Jewel, Rob Thomas, and Macy Gray.
Weekly Davespeak had the fine opportunity to photograph Dave Matthews Band from the pit in front of the stage on 8/31/07 at the Gorge Ampitheatre in Washington state. The photos were taken by Bryan Rosengrant during the first two songs of the show, Dreaming Tree and When the World Ends.
The photos were shot with a Nikon D80 in super high, 10.2 megapixel, 2592 x 3872 resolution. That means that each photo is just over four megabytes. The preview images on the pages below contain a visible Weekly Davespeak watermark, the high resolution photos do not.
This set of 50 photos may be the highest quality fan produced photographs ever to reach the public. The idea is for these photos to be available for use in the DMB community for sharing, personal use and projects.
When Radiohead releases "In Rainbows" on Wednesday they will do so independently. Because you do not need a record label in order to sell mp3s available for download. When you're Radiohead, people just buy them.
However, Radiohead made it fairly clear they would release the album as a "conventional" cd packaged for record stores sometime early next year. Details about who would handle this portion of the album's release have been lacking until now.
There are a number of things that tie Dave Matthews Band to Radiohead. For one, Dave loves Radiohead to the point where he is disgusted with them.
Another similarity: both bands road-test their music. Radiohead debuted 13 tracks from "In Rainbows" starting mid-2006. Almost in parallell, for the first time in two years Dave Matthews Band road-tested a new song, Idea of You.
