Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King Album Art Released

The album art for Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King has officially been released. The picture is drawn by Dave Matthews, and seems to incorporate a New Orleans-style funeral with Mardi Gras influences, as well as different lyrics from songs on the album.

Moments ago a different colored line drawing appeared on the official page for Dave Matthews Band that has some fans wondering if it is the new album art for Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King.  

As previously reported, Dave Matthews has been working on designing the album art for the past few weeks.

This comes after a separate picture, which was uploaded to the official site, posted below.

No message accompanies the posting of the image, but with the album due in stores by June 2nd, a finalized album cover can't be far off.

This new artwork appears to be people on a balcony, perhaps observing a parade at Mardi Gras in New Orleans.  The artwork prominently features an alien in the lineup second from the left.
