DMB Prepares for Grammy Performance
With the Grammys quickly approaching, DMB has been rehearsing this week for their much anticipated performance to accompany their 2 Grammy nominations. For this performance, they will be recreating the “You and Me” video, complete with a choir, small orchestra and eight youth musicians, USA Today reports.
In true DMB form, the performance will be completely live, no dancers, no stand-ins. “We wanted everything live. There is such freedom to that.” Dave Matthews tells the newspaper.
Rob Cavallo, the producer behind Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, has been in LA this week overseeing DMB’s Grammy performance rehearsals. “We made them sweat” Cavallo told the magazine. “This isn’t a high school band.”
Be sure to tune in to CBS this Sunday, January 31 at 8pm EST/PST to see DMB's live performance.
