Dave Matthews Band to Play Wrigley FIeld 2007
Chicago Tribune reporter Paul Sullivan has confirmed in the press that longstanding rumors of a Dave Matthews Band performance at Wrigley field will occur during the All-Star Break. The All-Star break runs from July 9 to the 11, and according to the article, the band will play two shows.
Wrigley field was built in 1914, but it wasn't until September 2005 that it acted as a venue for an artist. Jimmy Buffett had a two-night stand at the venue over Labor Day Weekend, attracting more than 87,000 fans. The show was later released as a two-disc DVD, Live at Wrigley Field.
Like always, don't book your flights until an official press release from the band's managment.
