 At the Bonnaroo Dave and Friends show, Dave Matthews, Brady Blade and Tim Reynolds played an improvisational jam titled Thing.
With the DMB tour set to begin on Thursday, the question ringing through many heads is whether this could be the start of a new song. The guitar loop is reminiscent of the Tom Petty's Mary Jane's Last Dance, and Tim drops a melodic riff over a steady rock beat from Brady.
The big question is whether this is a simple jam worked out for Bonnaroo, or is this a hint of where DMB tunes are headed?
