Dave and Tim to Perform Late-Night in Vegas
August 25th, 2005

Timmy tim-tim-tim.The Warehouse has announced a previously rumored late-night show in Las Vegas during the upcoming Vegoose weekend.

Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds will team up for a performance on October 28th at Aladdin's Theatre for the Performing Arts.

The Aladdin Casino began life as the Tally Ho, being converted in 1966 by Milton Prell. The hotel was bought and sold repeatedly for the next thirty years with its share of association with underworld figures and celebrities. In 1998 the hotel was imploded (video) to make way for a new $1.02 billion Aladdin hotel and casino.

The October 28th show will be Dave and Tim's first together since the 4/4/03 performance at Carthage College. Tickets will be offered to Warehouse members during a brief 24-hour request period beginning at 10AM Eastern on August 31st. Mark your calendars! Membership seniority will not be taken into account during seating placement.

Aladdin theatre for the performing artsThe venue has seating for 7,019 guests with 97 seats in the Gold Circle; 1,903 seats in the Orchestra; 3,000 seats in the Mezzanine; and 2,019 seats in the Balcony. It has played host to artists such as Elton John, Chingy Chingy in hrrrr!!!, Alanis Morissette, and Prince. Velvet Revolver performed this past week, see this thread for pictures, video and reviews of the venue.

The tickets will cost $52.50, an additional expense for Vegoose festival-goers. Dave and Tim haven't played Halloween together since 3/13/99 but the potential for a nigh all hallows' eve performance may just be enticing enough for fans to fork over the extra cash.
