The Denver Channel is reporting that Red Rocks night four raised $1.25 million for Hurricane Katrina victims. Holy crap, that's a lot of money. Especially considering night four was by far the weakest of DMB's Red Rocks performances. Can you say burnt out?
But Dave's not ready to quit on New Orleans. He's involved in "From the Big Apple to the Big Easy" This is a pair of concerts at Radio City Music Hall and Madison Square Garden that will feature a ton of performers: Jimmy Buffet, Elvis Costello, Elton John, Lenny Kravitz, Bette Midler, Simon and Garfunkel, Trey, Galactic, Tom Waits and more.
