May 7th, 2004

Dave Matthews Interviewed on NPRDave Matthews has been interviewed by NPR regarding his trip to Africa with Trey Anastasio. Video footage from this trip was the basis for the recent release of the music video for So Damn Lucky.

The interview will be available online for download at 3pm EST today.

In 1992 and 1994, Dave Matthews Band played at WTJU News Radio, a public radio station in Charlottesville during the first week of May.

Jem, (the recent newcomer to Dave Matthews and Coran Capshaw's record company ATO Records,) got her first major exposure from her DJ work on the public radio station KCRW of Santa Monica, California. Her show titled, "Morning Becomes Eclectic" on this NPR station helped launch her career.
