 Following a politically inspired scat from Dave in Jimi Thing, Mr. Carlos Santana joined DMB onstage for Warehouse, Sugar Will and All Along The Watchtower
In DMB's history, Santana has joined them onstage during a tour show just seven times. The last time Santana played with DMB was also in San Francisco--Pac Bell Park on May 18th, 2001.
In August Dave Matthews and DMB drummer Carter Beauford performed at a Santana Tribute in LA. Carlos Santana had recently been named the Latin Recording Academy's Person of the Year for 2004, and was being honored in part for his efforts towards social activism.
