Summer has officially begun!! After a semi-break in 2011, DMB is back on the road. The band returns to the stage tonight in The Woodlands, TX to kick off the long awaited 2012 Summer Tour!

Christmas has come a few weeks early for DMB fans!
As you may have heard, Stefan is out in Vail, CO with his band Yukon Kornelius gearing up for the annual Vail Snow Daze. In between hitting the slopes, YK called into KCBO FM to talk about their December 10th gig, their first time performing together in 2 years.In the interview, the members of YK discussed some of their musical influences and how that plays into the dynamic of this "super group" (comprised of DMB's Stefan Lessard on bass, Barenaked Ladies lead Ed Robertson, Guster lead Adam Gardner and Spymob drummer Eric Fawcett). Stefan even took a few moments to discuss DMB's upcoming plans and what fans can expect in 2012.
After much anticipation, the NYC DMB Caravan has been officially rescheduled and will be held at a new location! DMB is set to play 3 nights at Randall's Island on September 16th, 17th & 18th.

It was announced today, that Dave Matthews will be a guest performer at the Blue Man Group 20th Anniversary Reunion Show. Featuring the original Blue Man cast, this show will take place on April 13th at the Astor Place Theatre in New York City.
No stranger to the Blue Man Group, Dave was a guest on "Sing Along" from their 2003 album, The Complex. This song has yet to be performed for a live audience.
The Blue Man Group 20th Anniversary Reunion Show is an intimate event with only 299 tickets available for purchase. Ticket prices range from $2,500 to $10,000. Proceeds from this even will benefit the Blue School, a lab school in New York City co-founded by the Blue Man Group in 2006.
Live from New York, it’s DMB! After weeks of rumors, it’s official! DMB’s July 17th performance in Flushing, NY at Citi Field will be released as a 2-disc set titled, Live in New York City.
Ask anyone who attended and they’ll surely tell you this show started off with a bang. DMB opened with fan favorite, The Stone, followed by Warehouse with the UTTAD style intro. Rounding out the first three songs was One Sweet World complete with the beloved instrumental intro featuring a trumpet solo by Rashawn Ross. This show also features the tour debut of Seek Up and a partial version of Blackjack, marking the first time it had been played for a live audience
Pre-orders are available at the Warehouse Store until Friday November 5th at 3 PM ET. All Warehouse pre-orders will also receive The Warehouse Big Apple Bonus Disc featuring 8 songs from the July 16th show. A four song bonus disc will be included with all orders for non-warehouse members.
In case you won't be making the trek to see DMB at Bonnaroo this weekend, it doesn't mean you have to miss out on all the action! Michael Franti and the members of Spearhead announced via the Bonnaroo YouTube channel that this year's annual arts and music festival will be webcast LIVE on YouTube beginning Friday June 11th.
Seemingly saving the best for last, DMB is set to headline the final day of the 3 day festival in Manchester, TN on Sunday June 13th. Other acts set to perform over the weekend include, Kings of Leon, Stevie Wonder, Tenacious D, Weezer, The Avett Brothers, Zac Brown Band, Norah Jones, Damien Marley and many more !
With the news that DMB is taking 2011 off to "stare at the stars, and stare at our kids", fans wondered what would the 2010 Summer Tour shape up to be?
Prior to the tour, Twitter messages from Stefan Lessard left cryptic clues, but also got people wondering if this "was it" for the band. Thankfully, according to Dave Matthews, the band will reconvene in 2012. And the tour? Yeah, it's off to a pretty gnarly start.
Night 1 of Hartford, CT started off with a revelation- of John, The. JTR- a song that has not been played for 302 shows, opening the show sent shock waves through DMB fandom. Just a fluke? Hello Again, Busted Stuff, Kit Kam Jam and a new tune Break For It made sure fans knew- this ain't your ordinary opening night, kids.
After weeks of speculation, it has been announced by DMB’s official website that they will not be touring in 2011.
"Message to our Fans: As we feel the excitement building for this summer, we wanted to let everyone know that after twenty years of consecutive touring, Dave Matthews Band will be taking 2011 off. We feel lucky that our tours are a part of so many people's lives, and wanted to give everyone as much notice as possible. We're excited to make this summer one of our best tours yet, and look forward to returning to the road in 2012."
