After an appearance at ESPN on Tuesday, May 2nd, Boyd Tinsley, violinist for Dave Matthews Band sat down with Weekly Davespeak to answer a range of questions about the band.
Bruce Flohr, former A&R VP for RCA and now band representative for Red Light Management also sat in for the interview.
The interviewer, Gordon Lawler, predominantly sticks to questions about the band’s plans for live play this summer, but by the end of the interview he manages to put the Machead issue to rest.
What sets this interview apart is that it is untainted by a promotional slant. Boyd doesn't talk about DMB in terms of a new record, or anything else for that matter. He just delivers light, honest answers to questions from a fan.
