This challenge is for entertainment purposes only. This is not a news story or article about Dave Matthews Band. That is why it is in the Games section. Think: 'fun' and nothing more.

In 1969 it became a pop phenomenon that Paul McCartney had died in a car wreck and that there was a cover up at the record company.
As detailed in this article, the hoax reached large enough proportions that Life Magazine flew its camera men to Scotland to track Paul down and prove that he was still alive.
This leads us of course to Dave Matthews Band, and what secret messages they might be sending fans.
Recent interviews with Stefan Lessard (aka Fonzy) have caused some fans to believe that there exists a rift within the band. Most recently Stefan's comments on Dave and Trey's cooperation. Some trace this back to the release of Everyday, an album Dave put together with Glen Ballard without the help of his band.
Championed among the songs most disliked by fans is the big radio release, "I Did It." A little investigation found that Dave may have been trying to indicate to fans a problem between him and Stefan.
Playing Forward: Dave says "...Change the ugly ways of the world, I didn't know it felt so right..." (mp3)
Beatles fans have gone completely overboard interpreting song lyrics and reversing samples of songs in order to glean conspiracy theories. Dave Matthews fans ought to be able to come up with some interesting ideas as well.
Until May 1st, this site will be taking submissions for the 'DMB Reverse Lyric Challenge.'
The best sound sample / conspiracy theory will win:
