Live Trax Vol. 5 Discussion (merged)

Does anyone know why it was delayed? I remember it being released on may 12, but now I see it is being released on May 26th and was wondering if anyone knew the reason for it. On the DMB almanac it verifies what I remember when I ordered it. Anyway, it is not like it is that huge of a deal, I was just curious...

I actually think pre-orders are a bit of a scam. You pay them months in advance for something and they get to collectively sit on everyone's money and let it gain interest.

I am going to wait, in December they had all of the Live Traxs for sale at the show. They were like $20 each. By the time I pre-order and pay for shipping and exchange, etc., it costs me $30+

That is exactly what I did. I only have the first two Live Trax. I want the rest, just to make my collection complete. Its hard to fork over the dough when you can get a taper version that is nearly as good.

i stopped for that reason. although, i am very glad i got golden gate--that is a concert best heard from soundboard

Oh absolutely! I also only have the first two, but would like to upgrade my collection. Was thinking about getting some of the others in June when I see them in Toronto. I wonder if they will have volume 5 there since the show is on June 13th?

All concerts are best heard that way...but I can understand not wanted to fork over the $.. I agree that the shipping charges are a bit much, but I choose to support the band.. and if they choose to release soundboard shows, I want them in my collection.

I always choose the cheapest shipping and the last two times I received it the day before it was supposed to be released for some reason. I am not sure when the people that selected the fastest shipping received it but I can't imagine it getting to them any faster.

I got mine in the mail today
