Default Dave and Friends vs. DMB

Sorry this might be somewhat late. I've been lucky to see Dave and Firends and DMB both this year a few times. I loved the Bonnaroo show. It was different and completely amazing. But its just seems so much better when its the Dave Matthews Band and to me that can't ever get old. I realize it's nice to have a change every now and then but with Dave and Friends, to me it's not the same energy. As far as gettin' into the show, it's so much easier to for DMB. Maybe because Dave and Friends hasn't been around long enough or what!?

The single best show I've ever seen....out of <easily> over a 100 concerts....was Dave and Friends in Chicago. :D
However, I will ALWAYS prefer good ol' DMB!

Although I was unfortunate enough to not be able to see D&F this tour, I have heard from a great number of sources that D&F was just not really up to par DMB. While they said it was great, it just didn't compare to the full band experience of the show. Be it the mood, tone, energy...something was missing. Wish I could have gone to one to be able to report on my own feelings, but the timing just didn't work out. D&T however, is a different story. Drove from Miami to D&T in Boone & Winston/Salem... and probably the top 2 shows I have ever gone to for Dave. I wouldn't say it beats out DMB, its just such a personal experience because of the small venue....and Dave could actually hear me if I wanted to yell something.
