One, Dan officially has no karma chips.
Two, you leave me no choice - I hope they play Seven both nights. (maybe even twice one night) |

This was easily one of the best shows I have ever seen. So much energy, they played forever, we had an amazing crowd around us, I couldn't have asked for more.
I was hoping to hear You Never Know this weekend and was beyond elated to hear the beginning chords right after that AMAZING Seven opener (ahem, Dan )Blue Water partial, BOWA, Song That Jane Likes, Seek Up? WHAT??? Apparently I fail at life because I completely missed Message In A Bottle... The Riff is even more fantastic live than I imagined it would be. I thought for sure the show was over after Watchtower, then again after Grey Street... Then they bring out Stanley Jordan for Proudest Monkey and Satellite and I was thinking this is craziness! First there is no way they are ending the show with Satellite and what a weird couple of songs for him to guest on.... That LIOG was probably one of my favorites I've ever seen, and again I thought the show was over... Not so much, DDTW was a great way to close! First time I've heard A Whiter Shad of Pale - the is a beautiful cover and though I would have preferred a different song in the encore, So Damn Lucky was actually pretty fantastic. Finally Tripping Billies closes out the night and it was pretty damned perfect! As always the Alpine crew made the whole experience and I wouldn't trade this weekend for anything in the world. I've always said at this point it's all about getting together with y'all and the Dave shows are a bonus... In this case I think we got a bonus and a half!
