SPAC General Information (Camping/Overnight Accommodations) (merged)

Good evening everyone. With the concerts about 2.5 weeks away now, I figured it was about time to start (actually quite late, but hey, i've been busy) thinking about where I was going to stay, and what i was going to do in between things. Is there camping at or around the SPAC venue, and if so, do you have to have a special ticket to have access to these facilities? Another possibility I s'pose would be hotels, so if anyone has looked or reserved a hotel room nearby, I was curious as to the availability nowadays.

If anyone has anything for me in respect to anything closely resembling the above mentioned topics, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm staying at Lake Moreou.... you prolly should call immediatly...campsites are prolly almost totally booked.

You may want to try calling reserve america directly though.
This is generally a tough weekend being the 4th and all.

Does anyone have any info on this place? I stayed there last year, but cannot seem to find them listed anywhere...anyone know if they are still open? Could they have changed their name?

This campground is the shit. you show up and pay 10 bucks per person per night and throw a tent wherever you can fit one. a lot of people there from the show and a lot of fun partying.

Hey, just wondering if any of you are gonna be at SPAC. If you are Lee's campground is the shit and i was just wondering who will be there. You don't need a reservation, just show up and put a tent down. It's only about ten minutes from the venue and a great time all day and night. Owners are awesome, don't care about anything you do as long as there are no fireworks.

Yep. I was at Lee's last year. Cool little grounds. It rained like i've never seen it the first night last year--beer cans were literally floating through the campground. It did dry out though.

Just as an FYI they also don't allow nitrous tanks there. Not that any of you would do something so silly as to try and sell that stuff.

Hey guys, this will be my 3 year going to SPAC every year is better than the last, Especially with that rain storm we had last year. This is the first year I wont be staying at my friends apartment in Albany. I was wondering if anyone is planning on camping and if so where at, and how much and do they have a website i can go to. Thx in advance
