I'm new here, so just now seeing your post. But this Atlanta girl will be there! From 96 til now, can't miss an ATL show!

My bet is Warren will definitely make an appearance during the main set - they love bringing him up.

Georgia shows in general - decent compared to others. Having been to shows at the Gorge, I would admit that the Georgia fan base isn't as exciting or reactive to DMB's best. It's like they are more pop-friendly fans who may not fully appreciate the special stuff (not all of us are that way though!). I think the band plays more "crowd pleasers" bc of this.

Then again, when my favorite band is on stage, especially in my hometown, I love it no matter what.

Still good, don't get me wrong, with special stuff. We've heard Roi's birthday song played a couple times over the years (tear). Last year we were treated to the new Beach Ball, a ripping rendition of Burning Down the House, then The Maker in the encore night 2 - beautiful. And who can forget the PHENOMENAL #40 at Piedmont in 2007?! Piedmont stands alone though - it was absolutely epic.

I love The Maker and think it should be placed in the encore more often again.

Great first post. Enjoy the show.

Default Time to see Atlanta again!

Can't wait for the show!!! I usually go to every Atlanta show; however, haven't made it though for the last one or two shows (since the birth of my daughter). Last trip was to P. Park and loved every minute of it. Can't wait to see what excitement this trip will bring. I'm in the pit next week and will be looking forward to a great night!

I am going to this show. I always try to make it to ATL shows. As for Warren Hayes I think that he will come up on stage for at least one tune. As for past shows a lot of special moments for me have happened at these shows including the last time Rio and Jeff played on stage together. I will mostly be tweeting from the show this year too so you can keep tabs if you want updates and not going. my name on twitter is ArtManifesto. I usually bet the update from the DMB website and a lil more insight on how the set is shaping up playing wise.
