DMB likely to play South Africa in 2010 according to iafrica.com (merged)
So, it looks like they may try to make it to South Africa soon. Soon being 2010. If this is the case, would yall go? I have been trying to determine whether to go to the World Cup in 2010, this will push me over the edge and hit up South Africa.

I thinks it's about time. Everyone needs to give back to their motherland. But I remember hearing from many who have visited SA, that most South African citizens dont know who Dave is. I mean does he have any following like he does here?

Even if the band doesn't have a big following down there, have to start somewhere ya know? even if its a festival of some kind, Maybe finally doing a show will bring fans around.
I think this is a great idea, I'm sure Dave has always wanted to go back to South Africa to do a show there.

I'm sure South Africa will love the DMB!!! They're great. If everyone likes them here of course they will gain a great fan base there!

this is very cool thanks for sharing, I know that a couple of years ago Dave played a couple of songs in a SA radio station...but thats about it

I'll be there in June of next year for the World Cup and then a semester of studying abroad in Cape Town.

hmmmm we were just talking this weekend about where our next group trip will be to....we were talking Sydney but ironically SAfrica was mentioned as well....I'll have to keep this in mind....
