DMB Advance Listening Party Facebook Contest (merged)
Edit: WDS is seeking to sponsor a Network of a Listening Parties around the globe. Please see this page for a list of parties to Confirm your attendance to. Help WDS members qualify!
---- I didn't see this made yet but this was posted on DMB's facebook... http://web.davematthewsband.com/bigwhiskey/contest/ Apparently you have to make an event for memorial day and invite all your friends...the top 100 events with most people get a CD in advance to have at the party...  (I think?!)You record your event and submit it and the party that most creatively incorporates the CD into their party gets to meet Dave?!?! and see them live at Palm Beach on 8/15 from Front Row. That's intense is all I gotta say..too bad i'm busy..

Like it or not, DMB and management are pulling out some of the more innovative and web-intense marketing for this album ever! Facebook, twitter, iTunes, Amazon, DMB's website, Pandora, and the list goes on...

This is such a cool idea. Some of these parties are going to be crazy amazing. Wish they had one of these parties here in the UK. WDS should have a party. Would be cool. If anyone hosts a party, could they upload the photos to the forums? Would be cool to see the interesting ideas people come up with.
At the bottom of the contest page they have this: *Dave Matthews Band in no way encourages or promotes the consumption of alcohol, whether implied or expressed, in relation to the respective album title reference. I just hope they dont have to put this on the album cover, or posters, or tshirts or that dave has to say it during a concert.haha. Even though they dont imply it, I will be sitting down on the June 2nd, with my buddy, whos also a massive fan, having the album blasted at us, having some Big Whiskey. Have fun people. R
