Default New Weekly Davespeak Interview with Tim Reynolds (2009)

The past year was a unique year for Dave Matthews Band. The addition of Tim Reynolds not only in the studio, but as a touring member added not only a new sound to the band, but an irreplaceable presence.
I was both nervous and excited to talk to a man that has had so much influence with the band that I love. Tim and I conversed for about 45 minutes about his new album, his recent tour with TR3 and touring with DMB. We also touched on his favorite books, his thoughts on Barack Obama, whether or not he actually is an alien and of course, Big Whiskey and the Groogrux King.

I like Tim's description of classic rock sound. That gets me excited. I'm thinking we could get something really, really cool on June 2.

To Rob and everyone else from WDS that pulled off this interview. Thanks. Makes me proud to be part of this site.

Never realized how much stuff TR is into. Just glad he is now part (at least this year and the new cd) of the greatest band on earth. Interview with Coffin would be very interesting......something tells me you are working on that?

Most excellent interview! I love Tim; he may be my fave guitar player of all time. I love his ideas on conciousness and how we are interconnected. I would definately call him a higher life form...in one way or another.
