Tom Brady is for sure one of the best quarterbacks of the past 20 years. What he's done in the past 8-9 years with the Pats has been amazing. His story is one of the best in sports I think. Going from a 6th round pick and a back up to Super Bowl Champion, MVP, and NFL Record holder is inspiring.

Yeah, the Brady-Moss pairing is simply surprising. Considering where Moss was at during that time in his career, who really saw this coming? Success was certainly a possibility, but certainly not like the way it was.

Brady's story is really an amazing one at that.

With the 2009-10 NFL season among us, I realized we did not have a thread for it! So here is your place to talk football this fall.

To start out with, I'm TIRED of Brett Favre. Stay retired already. The worst thing about him coming back to the Vikings is that we're going to have to go through alllll of this again next summer for a 3rd time.

..and another season under Favre's belt means another year that Peyton Manning has to play to break all of Favre's records

Go Niners. If that spoiled brat Crabtree doesn't sign.... that would suck. And probably cost us a playoff spot.

Im not a Farve fan or anything but Im not sure if you grew up playing a sport and if you did you must realise how sad it is to be away from doing something you love. Granted I think the NFL should have a rule where your only allowed to come back once from retirement or something like that but they dont at this time so let Farve do what he wants with his life.

I played quite a few sports as a kid, particularly football, up through my freshman year of college and I understand how hard it must be for him to walk away from the game he's been playing for probably a good 30 years of his life. But I just think it's such a joke for him to retire, unretire, play a year, retire, go through the sad story about how he's sure he'll never play again, talk to minnesota in the offseason, stay retired, then suddenly come out of retirement for a second time in eleven months and join, of all teams, the Vikings. As Fran Tarkenton said about it recently, it's a circus. Not to mention I think it's kinda selfish to wait until this point in the preseason to join the team - skipping the offseason OTA's and training camp (he signed not even a week after camp ended). If I were a Viking, I don't think I would be very welcoming of a guy who just pulled that. (It just gives me the same feeling as a few guys in high school who would skip all the "optional" practices in the summer just because they knew they were good enough to join the team at a later date..)

Now don't get me wrong, I used to love watching Favre play as a Packer and I have nothing against him.. I am just tired of the situation (as youve probably figured out by now lol)



And ehhh the Patriots huh? Good to see that Brady is healthy for you guys, no matter how much I dont like him it pained me to see that hit last year. There's no way anyone's knee can take that much force at that angle. But he's good for the league and healthy again, so let the Brady/Manning debates rage on... although I think Drew Brees might try to nudge his way into the discussion this year.

I'm pretty sure just being the 49ers will cost them the playoff spot
