RUMOR: DMB to play 3 nights at SPAC in 2009 (FACT: Only 2 nights)
I have heard from a reliable source that is close to SPAC President and Executive Director, Marcia J. White, That DMB has requested to play 3 nights during the upcoming 2009 tour. As of right now SPAC and DMB are trying to figure out if they can fit DMB in for a 3rd night. But the important thing is that DMB is asking SPAC for a 3rd night and not the other way around. Being close to SPAC and Saratoga, I am going to be hoping this happens!
11/25/08 Update: Looks like SPAC is going to cut down a week on their annual New York City Ballet shows which might open up a nice spot for a 3 nighter for DMB. The NYCB shows were in July this last summer at SPAC, so it could be possible that the three nights could be in Mid-late July. I have also heard from the same person that they are talking about a possible Thursday-Saturday show line-up, but that could change to Friday-Sunday. If I hear anything more I will update this again.

^^^Yeah kind of, but venues do start booking artists at least 6 months before the shows, sometimes even more, some artists are booked years before (Celine Dion for example) but they always end up canceling 2 months before jaja

This would be so cool, I'm already planning my first U.S. DMB experience, and it was going to be SPAC, guess I'll just have to make it to all 3 nights!!
