Default Giants Stadium tour stop in 2009?

I don't know about any other of you tri-state area fans out there, but I think we need a Giants Stadium stop next summer. They always seemed to put on great shows there and I would love to see them play there.

I think our football stadium tours are over...sadly. I would love to see them play Soldier Field again, since it was the first show I saw. But I'm not too confident that'll happen again.

Are you saying that because you don't think they could attract enough fans to come see them at a football stadium?

that may possibly be the reason...I don't know for sure. I just know that it's a lot easier to get a ticket now than it was 7-8 years ago.

Their making of 'Everyday' had to fuck everything up ha...but seriously it did. How many songs off there do they play anymore and really have ever played consistently since after their supporting tour? WTWE, WYA, Everyday, and maybe Fool To Think and If I Had It All?? God what a mistake...but u know, you live you learn.

Well isn't next year the final year for the stadium? I also don't see why this wouldn't work out if it is a one night stand. I don't think they would be able to sell the seats for more than a one night stand. If it does happen I'll definitely make the trip up.

I'm paraphrasing somebody over at Ants, but the reason it might not work out as the final show is because construction is continuously getting delayed with rising prices and outrageous contracts.

I'd love to see this happen, but I think it's we're getting way too far ahead of ourselves here.

I seen that, I would love to see it happen though, but as they said on Ants I don't they could sell out more than one night. Really hoping for this rumor to pull through.

I think that the band should move onto other stadiums that they haven't played in. Yea the shows there were some great ones but they've played shows there 8 different times(including two 3-night stands).

There's definitely other stadium venues that should be given a chance. For instance, Citizens Bank Park in Philly, M&T Bank Stadium(M&T could be a good possibility because there have been at least three concerts there this summer) here in Baltimore or maybe Camden Yards, the Yankees' new stadium(highly doubt that though), Wrigley, or the Washington Nationals' new field.
