Yes they did. The great thing was seeing Dave's face as they went into Two Step coming out of Seek Up...he knew what impact those two songs together means- for sure.
Everyone here that was not at the show is in for a treat when you hear Loving Wings. Timmy adds a lot to the song, blew my mind. |

This show was short but sweet. Though I saw most of these songs at SPAC my seats were great and it was awesome to see the band up this close. The tour debut of Loving Wings was awesome and the tour debut of Seek Up was even better. This is difficult to say but I'm gonna say it anyway, last nights Two Step was one of the best Two Steps I have ever heard; it was unreal and it was a great way to end the set. The encore break, wow, I have never heard I crowd get so loud, we were all so hyped up from that close to Two Step, just listen to the tape you'll see what I mean. Carter streched it out really long so the lights were flashing non stop and the band was just going all out for about two minutes, and Timmy the best solo I have heard him do yet. Sister was nice a little bit of a buzz kill. And Thank You as always was a fucking good time. Me and friend being in section 8 were able to go down to the isle on the floor. Let me tell you, we did not take one normal walking step, we were dancing our way down the stairs down the isle dancing with other people screaming the lyrics to the song it was the best time I had all night. Always a great way to end a show.
Thank you Dave and the Band for another great summer for me, keep doin what you're doin for everyone else and you are sure to make the summer '08 one to never forget.

Matt after reading what you were wearing, I do remember seeing someone with a John Lennon shirt but I didn't see your comment till after I got home. so I didn't know it was you, had I know that I would have said hi ha, oh well next year! But it was cool that many of us was near each other!
I don't even care if no one reads any of this I just wanted to rant about my first show lol So. let me first start out by saying this was the WORST trip to a concert I have ever had. What should have taken me an hour and a half turned into a fucking 4 hour nightmare, and I am NEVER EEVVEEERR bringing my mother to another DMB concert ever again. For one she didn't enjoy it fully, she liked it a bit but not her thing. She didn't like the long jams. whatever. But jesus I fought her with the whole time which pissed me off and put a cramp in my mood. We got lost going down there, coming home was no problem but holy shit that was a not cool. At one point I seriously didn't think we were going to make it, if some of ya'll remember those dreams I kept having a month before the show that something happen and I couldn't make it, I thought my dream was coming true it was freaking me out. I was hot and sweaty, at one point I was miserable, and tired cause of the trip. I get to the hotel room only to stay there for like 15 minutes to eat a bag of chips then we had to take off for the show. So I had no dinner, I looked like crap THEN on the way down there I had to sit in the traffic jam that took us another hour to get to the venue when it was only 15 minutes away. I am never living in Mass, that's for sure, how the hell do you people deal with the traffic jam down there, It was driving me nuts. I live in the city so I'm use to crazy driving but ya'll are nuts lol But let me tell you to stand there and watch them lift that screen up and those guys appeared, despite every problem I had just hours prior to the show, that put me right in the mood. The chills I got looking at them for the first time, is indescribable. It was like...wow..there they are, the guys that have changed my life with there music and now I'm here finally. It meant the world to me to see them, and it sucked the show was short because of the curfew but I'm in no mean complaining nor disappointed because of the moments I saw. To see Tim at my first show with the boys was a dream to, I felt like I was seeing a historical moment lol. I didn't really have a problem with the setlist, just wish I saw more of my bigger favorites but hopefully the next time I see them I'll get those! Don't Drink the Water, I was thrilled to hear this song live and I had guessed that they would open with this and I was right! Ugh I love this song to death, and knew there was a 99.99 percent chance they would play it and glad they did. It was a great way to start the show. #41 AHHH I shit myself. I shit myself like there was no tomorrow with this song. They started it and I was like oh yeah here we go. LOVE this song. The jam was beautiful. This just gave me a chill, now I know why people love this song so much live. Crash Into Me, I was really happy they played this, it was the song that I first heard from them many years ago and I always loved it, so it was really amazing to hear it live. Louisiana Bayou was AWESOME, always been on the edge about that song. It was my favorite off Stand Up at one point but got sick of it but hearing it live and the energy was really great. Boyd RIPS into this one, there are just some songs that you know he's going to kick you in the ass with and this one is one of them. I think its one of there best live songs. Loving Wings and Cornbread was really nice to hear live. You can tell Dave loves his cornbread lol. The Idea Of You, ugh this was the only part of the show I didn't like, I can't stand this song. If they decide to put it on the new album it better be a good recording cause I've tried to get into this like everyone else and it just doesn't work. Jimi Thing - Jimi Thing was sick. Tim was sick. He is the reason why guitars were invented, Dave is my favorite acoustic player ever, and Tim is my favorite electric player. That man violates those poor strings, and what really got me was how he made it sound like the keyboard. How in the FUCK does he do that? seriously It blew me away. I'm standing there and I couldn't believe what my eyes were hearing lol I'm seeing this man's fingers moves but I can't comprehend what he does and never will. The comment that Dave made before going into it about the venue being smoky from the maaggiiiccc stuff as he called, was awesome lol Money was awesome, wasn't surprised they played it but I'm glad they did, I love Dave's vocals on it, and seeing Stefan bounce around was funny. So Damn Lucky By far one of my all time favorite songs Dave has written. If any of his solo songs were played by the band I am glad it was this one. The ending ...wow. I'm glad the band has started adding this to there show. With Tim on board to, he really gave it a punch. I mean the ending gave me chills, I can't describe it, it was amazing. Where Are You Going is a song that has always been one of my top favorites, I was actually hoping they would play it. Its a song that has very special meaning for me and really with the day I had hearing this really lifted me up. Sister was alright, I like the song but I wasn't to thrilled about having it in the show and after two step and seek up it kinda killed the moment. If anything these were the three top highlighted moment for me besides having #41. Seek Up - I knew couple of notes into Dave's playing what they were going to play and my jaw hit the floor. I mean my eyes shot out of my head I couldn't believe it. I was just beside myself, first time fully played on the tour and looking at the Almanac a bit of a rare one which I knew. To hear this song, just like WAYG after the day I had was what really lifted me up. The jam they did was breath taking. Its one thing when you hear it from a cd, or whatever but to listen to it live is just a whole other story. And because I knew how huge this song was and how good it was, I knew I had a reason to be excited over it. Two Step- I may not have gotten that big of an impressive setlist, but to end the show with Seek Up and Two Step even I know how huge that is. They had the most bad ass jam to Two Step, the ending to it was mind blowing. If you don't plan on downloading the entire show at least get Two Step and Seek Up. I was pinching myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming, that I was seeing this. Like Matt said this Two Step was unbelievable. I've been to a lot of other concerts but this crowed was by far the loudest I have ever heard. The reaction that people had after Two Step/Seek Up was mind blowing Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin) - GREAT ENDING TO A SHOW!! I LOVE there cover of this song, and let me tell you, watching Dave dance the way he did was one of if not the greatest thing I've ever seen live. I dunno how he keeps going the way he did. But when he dropped his guitar, grabbed that microphone and started to just freak out the way he did, put the BIGGEST smile on my face ever. That is one of the greatest things I love about Dave is everytime I see him dance it puts a huge smile on my face. You should have seen me during this song, I didn't give two shits how I looked I was dancing my ass off along with everyone else. I lost my voice yelling the lyrics cause I'm telling you something about seeing Dave dance like that really got me and everyone ripped up. Oh btw I want to say thank you the three ass holes in front me who during the entire show were annoying and I wanted to beat down. They felt the need to not only smoke pot but BLOW the damn stuff into my face. You could try blowing your shit in the air in front of you, but please don't turn around and blow it in the faces of the people behind you, that would be greatly appreciated for future reference. I also want to say thank you to the nice women next to me who felt the need to wail her arms and jump around, at one point hitting me in the boobs THAT was great thanks so much. But I probably got her back during Thank You with my dancing when I was jumping around on her ![]() ![]() Honestly the show was great but it could have been better if the people around me weren't morons. When your standing next to little miss dancing feet and she's wacking you every minutes while at the same time your getting smoke blown in your face it KINDA as much as you don't want it to, puts a cramp in your enjoyment of the show. Which is why the whole experience of this trip is really bittersweet, I finally got to see my favorite band which was awesome but way to much crap came with it. So all in all my first DMB show was great lol Yes I did faint many times over the songs and I think the other times were cause I was getting high off the ******bags in front of me

Wow...What a show...I just wana say that dave really preformed on this one....The tailgating was great...although not a fan of the new rules about alcohol....mansfield kinda sucks...But anyways this concert was g reat...i was jamming out the entire time..The best was the encore and two step...Holy fuck dave was JAMMIN out...I remember movin into the aisle during the encores begining and started jamming out on the air guitar with these two dudes ....then 3 became 10 then 10 became 30 and soo on and so on until we had a massive jam/sing along going in the aisle..about 100 strong...Wow makes me proud to be a dave fan after that
