Boston, MA= 11/10+11th. (Seems Likely, Friday, Saturday with No Celtics or Bruins)
Providence, RI= 11/12 or 11/13.
Wash DC= 11/13, 14 or 15th. (No Caps or Wizzards.)
CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA 11/16+17TH.
maybe Philly, PA= 11/18th. (very doubtful but Philly should be played somewhere, arena busy 11/13-11/16th.)
NEW YORK, NY= 11/19+20TH.
-Thanksgiving Break- or end of fall tour.

KEEP IN MIND THIS IS JUST A GUESS, I HAVE NO INSIDE SOURCE AND DO NOT WORK AT AN ARENA OR ANYTHING. IT JUST MAKES SOME SENCE IN THAT THE ARENAS ARE EMPTY ON THOSE DATES AND IT WOULD BE A PERFECTLY COHESIVE ROUTE IN THE ALWAYS HEAVILY VISITED NORTHEAST DMB FALL TOUR ZONE. IT MAY BE A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME TO READ THIS, I'M JUST ANOTHER SILLY BASTARD WHO HAS THE PATIENCE OF A 4 YEAR OLD WHEN IT COMES TO TOURDATE ANNOUNCEMENTS.
That being said, I found an old shower head in a garage sale that supposely at one time belonged to Dave Matthews, that told me the 2012 Fall tour opener will be 10/30 in Burlington or Essex, Vermont. (I was drinking LSD laced Diet Moxie at the time of said event.)

Wow, that is actually a fairly decent way of going about predicting the tour. Too time consuming for my blood....

i heard from a very reliable source last night that dmb is playing the united center in chicago in september, which would mean a two, three week break between summer and fall tour. i would describe my connection, but then we'd all just end up quoting spaceballs, which is fun, but also counterproductive i suppose. anyway, take that with a grain of salt, but like i said, very reliable source.

OK, DMB has not played Ottawa in 10+ years, and outside of Toronto maybe played Montreal a handful of times.. curious why you'd even consider or think Ottawa (or Mtl for that matter) may happen this time around?

Sorry Ottawa Paul, yer right, DMB hasn't played the Korel center in 10 years, I meant to put that they would probably play Ottawa OR Montreal if they do a fall tour. Your also right about Montreal, they really haven't played there enough in the last decade for such a big city.
I guess being a Vermonter and having gone to every show they ever played in those two cities put them in my mind. (40 minute #41 in Ottawa on 4/20/02.) Sorry to get yer hopes up, I did say that it was only a guess. Let's hope for this year.
Do you remember when the Sens played their home games underneath one of the CFL bleachers? (In the days of Radek Bonk and Alexi Yashin.) Never seen anything like it, awesome.

Yes, the Ottawa Civic Centre it built into/under the (currently-being-renovated) football stadium. Nothing special, but fairly big 10,000+ capacity by minor league hockey standards.

Sadly I wasn't a DMB fan back when they used to regularly play Ottawa/Montreal, and their lack of tourist ANY part of Canada lately is beyond frustrating.

However, I put that into perspective when I see they don't even tour Western US much anymore ??

I will hope at least for a Mtl show as well, but I know Ott won't happen.
I can't afford a second T.O trip this year (their June show was my first ever) sadly :(

Yeah Paul, Being A French Vermonter, my parents had a sick sense of humor in that we would take winter vacation to varius Canadian cities. (Instead of say Florida or somewhere warm n Sunny like everyone else.)
I still remember our week at the Chateau Laurier, skating the canals and that guy Bon Homme Carnival, you know the guy who looks like if the Hamburger Helper guy was a really Happy Man-size Frenchmen....
