Hearing If Only live was incredible! My friends and I went nuts when he introduced it as a new song. That alone made it worth the 8 hour round trip! Not to mention the rest of the setlist!

Wow, the tape from last night sounds great. "If Only" might be my favorite new one. No guilt trip here...unless you let a good girl go. ;-)

Everybody Wake Up is actually a pretty sick song, I didn't think much of it in 05. I wish it sounded more like last night's version on the album. If Only is really cool, i tried comparing it to something they've written in the past but it doesn't really sound like anything they've done before. It's a cool groove, pretty catchy, I think the band blends really well together, nobody really overshadows anyone - tim, dave, and the horns blend well. I bet Lillywhite made it sound killer on the album.

This was a great show. I thought it got off to a slow start; Sweet, Proudest Monkey, Satellite, then Seek Up. All slow songs in my opinion. But things certainly picked up after that, and you couldn't take your eyes/ears off the concert.
If Only was amazing; that's gonna be great track. It has that "Crazy Easy" appeal. Then Everybody Wake Up started, and I was like: another new song? Oh, wait, yeah I know that one. ![]() Nice stage show this tour. Lights and lasers, very cool. Lastly, Halloween. C'mon, who doesn't like that song. That gets everybody off their feet. It was definitely unexpected. Carter was tapping out some riffs, Timmy was doing some really strange sounds with his guitar, and then BAM, the drums and Boyd's violin quickly clued you in as to what song was beginning. Great show, great friends in Cuyahoga Falls. Cheers y'all. Best regards, Jason |
