Requesting Seats via crappy WH ordering process

I actually like how they at least worded it on the request process this year. A LITTLE less confusing but still BLAH all the way still. We'll see what happens!

Regardless... We'll know either way come Sunday night by 11:59pm, so at least we don't have to play the guessing game of when will confirmations be out. That has to ease some of the concerns, right?

My plan for typing things correctly had to do with me typing in the information and having someone else read it back to me so I could check number for number, and so on. That helped ease the nervousness for me on mis-typing information. The nervousness about being rejected for tickets is still there.

With how they changed the process this year, I requested PIT for everything but I don't really want the PIT. But I also don't want to be excluded. And I really don't want the chance of getting lawn seats. I want to buy Pavilion. If I get lawn, I will be disappointed. I wish you could've opted out of lawn seats.

That's why I liked last year's process better. If you request PIT and get denied, you were then considered for pavilion... and it stopped there. No chance of getting lawn.

I requested pavilion only for all my shows with the exception of Camden, in which I requested PIT/Best Available. I REALLY want Pit for those ones... but if end up with lawn, I'll sell them (it'll be easy since it's close to home) and take my chances at the public sale to snag a pavilion or pit. I didn't want to risk that with any other venue.

Honestly, I'm not sure... I've been lucky enough to get Warehouse tickets for several years now.

However, I'd take a guess and say it would be near impossible to get PIT tickets during public sale, pavilion may not be as difficult if you get online as close to the exact time they go on sale as possible. Don't wait... if they go on sale at 10am. Be online at 10am. But, like i said... I haven't had to go that route in many years.

If you're willing to pay... you can get whatever you want from Stub Hub.

Another Option: If you have a Citibank card, there is a pre-sale starting 3/5... that's where I'll be getting tickets should I get denied for anything.

Maybe I misunderstood, but whether you chose GA Pit or Pavilion Seating, you are still considered for lawn seats. I'm gonna go read again... But that's why I picked PIT for all of them.

EDIT: Here's the quote from the Ticket page where you pick your "First Preference" and the number of tickets you want...


Select your preferred ticket level in the dropdown below. If not selected for your first preference, you will then be considered for all levels that follow.

If you're considered for all levels that follow... Whether you choose PIT or Reserved seats, you'll be reviewed for lawn as well. Or am I reading that wrong?

No, you're right.... if you choose pit this year, you are considered for all levels. Including lawn. Last year if you chose pit you were considered for pit and pavilion, not lawn.

But.. you can choose pavilion ONLY and that's all you're considered for. As with any level. You have to opt out of "best available".

AH, I got you now JennySmooth. Yeah, I don't like how it is. I really don't want lawn seats, lol. If I get them, I'm selling them. Maybe I'll change my Alpine request... hmm

yeah... with best available you are able to choose the level at which that begins... but you can also opt out of best available and choose one specific level only. Which is what I did..
