I'm also planning SPAC this year, I hope I can make it...

Please help! is there any campsite in walkable distance to SPAC venue?

Or maybe an hotel near SPAC.. but tell me, is it worth staying on an hotel?

Is there anything to do in SPAC walkable zone during the day??

there is a campground, (http://www.leespark.com/) I would not reccommend walking to the venue from there though. (I have and it is a good distance). Also the campground fills up pretty quick, if you are only going for night two you will not be able to get into the camp ground. I reccommend getting there ASAP night one.

my friends and I now stay at hotels since it is just more convient, we stay right in downtown saratoga which has quite a bit going on. we have walked from there to SPAC itself as well, which isn't too bad. I believe it was night two last year it was raining? I drove to the concert but got too intoxicated to drive back to the hotel so I slept in the back of my explorer right at the venue, which they had no problem with. (just throwing that idea out there as well)

Moreou is a bit of a hike from SPAC! There are a lot of hotels just south of SPAC if you want to go that route. Everyone seems to go North for some reason!

Lines star to form to get into the parking lot EARLY! Like noonish. Lines after you get parked to the gate aren't to bad....they may get long but move fairly quickly.

If you plan to park in the park and NOT the SPAC parking lot..... They close that around 11 or so. You can still park on the main drag but into the actual park is closed. This never used to be this way until they had that bad accident a few years ago. kinda sucks but whatever!

yeah i stayed in a hotel to the south of SPAC last year...it worked out pretty well

i'm actually staying in a hotel right in downtown saratoga so it works for me.
