Default A WDS song collaboration?

I know on Ants they have done this a couple times, and I did the keys part for Grey Street for one of them...

Just wondering if there was any interest around here? They are pretty fun to do and let some people play some instruments and mess around with mixing tracks if they have the equipment.

Works like this:
-People sign up with the instrument they play
-All decide on a song (DMB cover works best given our similar interest by being on this site!
-One person lays down a basic track (usually whoever is playing guitar).
-We then have people record their own tracks and all send them to one person, who then mixes it and posts the final mix!??

Not sure how many musicians are on here but figured it could always be a fun time.

Mind you I can always find people to play certain instruments by using people in my band to fill in any parts that we may be missing.

Post if interested!?

I'd do it. I don't play amazingly, but I still think it'd be fun. I could try to squeak some things out on a sax.

You'd have to search in the music section on ants for them. This computer (at work) is one of 4 that I'm banned from ants on....lol.

lol, the band keeps veto'ing me when I request we do that song!

We have a festival in Rochester in July and another in August that are really big shows (its the one that our main website picture is taken at....few thousand people!)

But I'm pushing pretty hard to bring in some "lovely ladies". And Angel is one of the top songs I want to do with them!!!!

I like that song...
