Within 2 weeks, we'll be announcing summer tour dates so be sure to check your email and the Warehouse website often.

Cheers,

Warehouse Crew

I know you all didn't miss this in the recent warehouse email. Its pretty exciting. Do we have any controversially negelected venues that might show up on this run? Will we get another 3 night run at the Gorge, or will they throw another one at the rose garden in portland?

How about a red rocks show?

I would definitely go to Red Rocks if they put it back on the tour. :praise:

I wonder if they'll do their big show in Sept. like CP and GGP the past two years and where if it happens will it be?

They wont be playing Red Rocks for awhile. They are too big for a place like Red Rocks. Even though i would die to go see them play there

All this stuff about new albums, dates, and the movie are really starting to get to my head. Normally, I'm very pessimistic, and my friends are always telling me to be more optimistic...Well, yesterday, I told my friend that things were good...And I've been wired and happy and just sugar-coated since. Long live DMB summer tour.

Due to the squashing of last years porported festival in NYC, I would expect to see something along these lines this year. CMON' SPAC 05'!!:boings:

I'll be going to The Gorge for the first time this summer. Can't wait. It's my birthday present. If the dates given by the campground are indeed correct, it'll only be a week and a half before my 21st birthday. My husband and I (and possibly my sister-in-law) will be driving from Kansas City, through Colorado, Utah, Idaho, and Oregon. Fun stuff. :)
I'm hoping Nashville and Sandstone (Bonner Springs) stay on the tour this year. Nashville is tradition. I've never been to a Bonner Springs show as I just moved to KC about 6 months ago, but I'm always excited at the chance to go to more DMB shows.

Anyone have any tips on The Gorge? How early do people start filing into the campground? What's the situation on food if you're camping? Any good stores relatively nearby to pick up some eats? It's a little difficult for me to find good camping food, as I'm mostly vegetarian. What's the weather typically like that time of year?

I know next to nothing about that part of the country. But I'll be sure to learn as much as I can in the next 6 months! :)

Also, it seemed on the Gorge dvd that Dave was quite willing to meet fans. Is this true or just an illusion of editing on the psuedo-documentary? I'd love to get the chance to give him an original oil pastel piece inspired by Lie in Our Graves (my favorite song ever--though I've somehow never heard it live)
Any info and help would be much appreciated. Maybe I'll run into some of you there...You never know. ;) :mon:

My husband and I are all about meeting new people, and I'm sure The Gorge and surrounding campgrounds are a wonderful place to do so.

ANYWAY, when do tickets go on sale in relation to when the tour dates are announced. i need to be at the gorge for at least 2 days but i'm not sure if i'll have the money right away. it'll suck if i can't be there.

Yea i am on edge for dates but i can hold off until they come because i know i will be hitting up both nights at Mansfield and one night at Hartford this year. So other than that i can await the dates.

i can help on some with this. once your at the gorge campground (or wildhorse which is where im staying) you need to be pretty set on food... the only thing thats remotly close is 2 gas stations the next town over. Wildhorse however does have breakfast lunch and dinner at their little food stand...and ill tell ya, its not half bad. As long as you have reservations you gonna get into the campground, so i wouldnt worry about that. People file in on the day of the first show...and a lot of the hardcore ones like myself, go the day BEFORE the 1st show. The weather is dry and cool...Gorge was in Sept last year, so at night, it got pretty chilly and windy...hopfully it will be a little earlier this year and spare us. As for Dave meeting people....when he sees people, i know he loves to talk and sign...but its not like he wanders around out there as the DVD makes it out to be...you still gotta be lucky to find him.
As the Gorge approaches, we will unlease a thread and article on "How to Survive the Gorge" keep an eye out for it.

I just wish it would happen. I'm actually feeling anxious. I need to know now. I'm praying that they won't be in Hartford the first week of July. If they do I've got problems because of my job. Won't be able to get 3 days off that week cuz my boss will be on vacation and I'll have to cover for her. Responsibility sucks!

obsessed, freaking out, wish they'd hurry up!

so for the last 2 years i had to drag my sister to the show @ va beach cause nobody else wanted to go...but this year i made a deal with some friends: if i go to some country concert (obviously nobody can detect the disgust in my voice, but it's there) they will go see dmb with me! i'm soooo excited!

I only wish you could get about 4 tickets through WH instead of 2. I have people I want to take, but with only 2 tickets, I can't. :(
