hmmm... never heard of maroon 5 (don't shoot me, i wouldn't know about many new artists if they weren't constantly plastered on the tabloid covers, lol). what kind of music do they play, justin?

They are alternative rock band. I saw them about 2 years when their debut album really started taking off. They are pretty good. The lead singer has a very distinct tone to his voice.

that'd be cool, chris! justin was kind enough to share a couple with me - sunday morning and she will be loved. the moment i heard them i didn't think i would like them - his voice...

but then just a little bit into the first song, it started to grow on me. i think i might definitely track down one of their albums.

now i need to figure out why you guys love coldplay so much - i've only heard one song, so it isn't enough to really get a feel for their range.

Yes, He does have a distinct voice. They had to grow on me a bit as well. I was not really a fan when I first heard them, but their album does grow on you.

Coldplay is another band that I really was not into at first, but I got my hands on thier second album "A rush of blood to the head" and that was it for me. I was hooked. Their other two albums are very good as well and I will finally be seeing them for the first time in April.

they have a live album that's out and their studio cds are good too. i saw them back in the summer of '04 maybe when they toured with john mayer - they put on a pretty good show!

only 1 coldplay song? we'll fix that!

I think Maroon 5 is great (prob. the only "new" band out there I like)...my wife hates them....I like the voice she doesn't.
