I think if you're definitely not going to do it, it's not procrastination. And double bonus, you get to cross that item off your list without doing anything.

I crossed one thing off my list today w/ an email. I hope the reply doesn't lead to anything more on my part. (Or back to the loop I go.)

We need new carpet. The thought of having to move all my crap around so the carpet can go in is completely unappealing. I'm assuming rich people pay other people to move their crap, then pay the carpet people, and then pay people to move their crap back in place. Must be nice. Plus my husband greatly overestimates the amount I can lift/push/pull. Which is why I've done nothing at all to start this process.

Maybe Friday.

So true...I just moved three weeks ago into a new apartment. Well I ended up paying dual-rent this month and had a few things left at my old place. Long story short, I went back to get the rest of my stuff last night and all of that stuff is still in my car. By the time I was done putting all the crap in my car, I didn't feel like moving it inside the new place. Wishing I could throw it all away and just buy new stuff. I figure every time I go out, I can just grab one item and bring it in when I get back.

Kim
11-18-2009, 09:25 AM
I am thinking that I am definitely going to throw stuff away. I did that when I moved out here. That's a good idea about bringing one item back in with you each time you go inside.

I cleaned the carpets at my place about a month ago, Cathy. It sucked, but its done now, my carpets are clean and my place smells nice.

Procrastination... I have like 9 projects I should currently be working on, but no desire to do any of them.

Kudos to you!

I've been procrastinating all day. I had an interview, and now I'm procrastinating more.

$10 I'll probably procrastinate packing the night before I leave for Alpine. I'm trying hard not to have that happen, but it's pretty much inevitable.

Shannon
06-28-2010, 12:47 PM
I usually wait until the morning of to pack. Packed for eight days of vacation three hours before we left this year!

Emily
06-28-2010, 12:49 PM
That is amazing.

My flight leaves at 5:45 a.m. so I've got to pack the night before. Or I'll forget something crucial, because that's my luck.

Shannon
06-28-2010, 12:53 PM
We left at 4 am. I'm amazed I didn't forget anything. Just don't forget the underwear!

I think a nap might be a good way to procrastinate now. That's the one thing I don't put off!

Emily
06-28-2010, 12:55 PM
A nap sounds so fabulous right now, but I can't pull that off in my cubicle. Too many people walking by.

Cathy W
06-28-2010, 01:28 PM
Seriously - my flight leaves Thursday night at 11:45 pm. I will be packing at noon on Thursday and still throwing stuff together as I walk out the door to get to the airport. When it comes to packing.... I am the biggest procrastinator EVER!

My carry-on is that little bag I carry with me to shows. I can't take anything bigger because I don't want to be lugging that into the show with me. And I don't want them to have to search a whole backpack when I'm trying to get close with my GA.
