yeah - I lived through a massive earthquake in Guatemala in the late 70's. Had nightmares about it for years! I feel for these poor people! Makes some of our little inconveniences of life seem insignificant. It's all a matter of perspective!

Reading the paper today is soooo sad. The earthquake in Pakistan and India is just one of the many disasters going on.

In Guatemala, where I grew up, they have had bad flooding which caused mud slides soo bad it burried entire communities which they have been unable to uncover. They have abandoned them and declared them mass graveyards.

Turkey and Romania and other countries struggle with the Bird Flu.

Thousands are still recovering from the hurricanes.

Reminds me to be thankful!!! My life has such few "inconveniences" and minor problems in comparison!!! I am so very blessed!

Count your blessing today and smile!! Be grateful! And say a prayer or send out a special thought for the many suffering in our world today.

Oh yeah, I know I'm excited about it. It seems like it just gets worse every year. It's a shame what's going on.
