It was super awesome. My horse experienced a lot of new things. It was great camping out with him. I met lots of new people. Lots of people helped me, and I helped lots of people. I think the event had about 230 entries.
I definately want to do this again. I also think I will need to get a second horse fairly soon.

Going on a 3 day endurance ride this Thanksgiving weekend in the Bay area. I am going to try for 2 of the three days. I have a new endurance horse. He has already done several 50 mile rides. I am just trying to catch up to him.
Happy Holidays

that is awesome, i used to ride a few years back...it just got so chaotic when highschool started n i tried to juggle cheerleading, horsebackriding, gymnastics and school all together..i miss it though, jumping was the most exhilerating thing that i ever did...

Yes,
I used to jump with my first horse, until he developed cataracts and it wasn't safe.
Now I just love to trot or gallop over the long distances. You and your horse, meeting the challenge.
