Socks-what type do you like to wear?

Just thought this would be an interesting study to get to know our community members better.

Personally, when I am at work, I tend to match the color of my socks with my shirt. When I am at home I often wear sandals without socks. At the gym, sport socks work nicely.

i wear those low ankle socks..most of the time they dont match either, they are all mixed up, but i dont care..who sees your socks?

I haven't worn socks since summer started because of the whole sandals thing but in the winter I like those ones with the grippie things on the bottom and the fuzzy animal on top to wear around the house. Otherwise, just plane haynes crew socks work for me, the ones with the grey on the toe and heel though

crew socks because i wear boots 6 days a week during work.. when im not wearing boots im wearing sandals.

My socks have plenty of holes in them and i wear them dirty a lot, because instead of throwing them in the laundry, i get lazy and throw them on my bedroom floor..so i never have clean socks:chicken:

actually its not bad anymore lol i dont play baseball anymore so i dont have dirty jerseys thrown all over the place

when I ride my horse, I wear really long socks that are purple.:)

so i definitely feel somewhat responsible for this thread - so glad you liked the idea to actually make this a thread!

i don't wear socks whenever possible (same goes for shoes) i wear trouser socks if i have to dress nicely for work, low-cut ankle socks if i'm wearing tennis shoes, or longer, colored/patterned socks if i'm wearing my boots

Is it just me or is there something really great about a fresh pair of socks? I only wear mine a few times and then I throw them away and buy new ones...They just don't feel as cozy after you've worn them more then 2-3 times.
P.S. Alice, I think you're right...this thread is all your fault....:lol: you have to admit though...it's pretty funny.

White socks aren't boring...They're comfortable..lol. I like those ones with the different colors and decorations though...those are kinda neat.

This thread is hysterical!! I guess when you think about it socks can make all the difference in the world at how you look and feel! LOL!

Me? Except when I wear sneaks at the gym (then ankle socks) - don't wear them - go barefooted as much as possible or in sandals! And somehow, socks just don't look right with my stilletto heels and leather mini either! LOL!

LOL Juile you are so creative! Hmmm... I don't wear socks unless my boss decides he is going to be a (cencered male part). I always wear sandles or flip flops, even in the winter. It doesn't get that cold here. But when the boss is being a big meany, I wear black ones.

I was talking about socks. And, by the way I can outlift most guys on the biceps curl, lat pull, and the calf machine.
