John Mayer - Webster Hall - 9/13/2006

I must have watched this concert 10 times while it was on DirecTV 101. Amazon lists a "Live from Webster Hall" DVD, but it is unavailable and not listed anywhere else that I can find. Does anyone know of an audio torrent from this concert? Thanks!

Here it is. Mayer at his best. Great versions of everything, especially Good Love is on the Way, Gravity, & In Repair. I can't say enough about Mayer's performance. It definitely erased my notions of him as a whiny suburban white kid with a little talent. He's the real deal. His guitar playing would make SRV smile.

Sorry about that. I was trying to find the fileshare program that Kim uses where you can create projects that have all the files in one place. Unfortunately I didn't realize I had the wrong one until 7 songs in. Glad you were able to get the songs.

John Mayer has an active message board called mystupidmouth.com. On there you can find a thread called 'Downloads From The 2007 Summer Tour', theres a list of his summer shows/events, followed by sendspace links. Most of the shows are in .mp3 zip files because the tapers feel it's ok to do so, although I have noticed a mass loss in quality through these tapes; it's more evident in some rather than others. That being said, you can always make your way over to bt.etree.org and find a bunch of John Mayer lossless torrents, many of these are great quality. DMB tapers are beginning to tape Mayer quite often (i.e. Crumbo), so these tapes have a great, familiar sound. If you have difficulties torrenting, Bryan wrote up a Bittorent Crash Course (http://www.weeklydavespeak.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2233) that's a great tool to getting started.
