View Full Version : Guitar Tab Request Thread (merged)

I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread where you request song tabs just as you would request songs or shows in the media threads.

If you're having trouble with a song, post here and you can get them or a reliable link.

Anyone have the live version of this solo? It is quite different than the album version (much better in my opinion). There may be several different ones out there, but the one I have in mind starts higher, and the first 6-8 notes are generally only a half-step or step apart from each other.

Any help?

OK, My first shot at a tab!

Try this:

E:-------17-17-16-16-16-----
B:-----------------------17-17
G:----------------------------
D:----------------------------
A:----------------------------
E:----------------------------

and i think

E:-------5-5-4-4-4----------
B:-----------------5-5------
G:--------------------------
D:--------------------------
A:--------------------------
E:--------------------------

Then..

E:-------10-10-9-9-9-------
B:-------------------10-10-
G:--------------------------
D:--------------------------
A:--------------------------
E:--------------------------

Dave (I believe) does this bit:

E:-----------------
B:-----------------
G:-----------------
D:-2---4--7--9--7--
A:-2---4--7--9--7--
E:-0---2--5--7--5--

no, its easy once you get it. it has to click with you. try singing the lines while you play and the rhythm falls into ... rhythm.. correctly.
great song.

the rhythm for the chorus... i just started shitting myself:lol::pissed:

Once you get the hang of it it's not too bad. After the first two chords, you sort of groups each of the otehrs into twos. Not sure if that made sense.

I'm bad at this whole internet machine thing. Can anyone find SMLAM on dmbtabs? I've been slaving over my piano for an hour. It's too fast haha. All I got so far is that it's in G maj.

Here's what someone posted on dmbtabs for Dive In

Dive In

This is what I've gotten so far...

Intro (and Bridge):
F, Am, C, G

Verses:
Starts off with Am, C, Em, G then goes through variations of that, I think. Maybe someone else can hear it better.

Chorus:
D, G, Em, A
